| Redtail Canyon Ranch (RCR) is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, outside the historic and picturesque town of Jackson, CA. Our working sheep ranch is home to a flock of well-tempered North Country Cheviot/Columbia breeds. We offer lambs, ewes, wethers and wool for sale. Contact us for availability and pricing. Our uniquely private, 43-acre facility offers a variety of terrain for advanced stockdog training, featuring a moderately steep, wide open hill pasture; for those new to herding, our smaller pastures provide the novice sheep handler with an ideal working area for learning the basics. Working with top handlers, RCR is planning to host several clinics and fun trials each year. |
